lesson number three: cleavin to Him
He is teaching me to cleave to Him n to lean on Him as fight d gd fight to run d race of life dat He has purposed for mi thru my paddlin partner
being d weaker one on d water by virtue of her Elo-given size
(dont get mi wrong she's amazin at other stuff u shld jus see d no. of pullups she can do :) )
she acknowledges dis n does smtg abt it
she fights d gd fight at every trg, clingin onto her ride, nvr lettin go, n when she falls off she climbs right back up
likewise in our relationship with Elo we shld acknowledge dat we r weak n dat of our own we can do nothin
n when we realise dis we shld nt despair bt press on by cleavin n clingin to Him
cos He is our salvation
our source of strength n safe refuge in times of need
n when we build our hse upon d Rock, upon Him, d wind and the rain may come bt our hse will nt fall
(unlike mi i cant prevent d wind frm blowing my fren back, bt He can!)
i like d hebrew meaning of d word cleave it means to impinge, i.e. cling or adhere; figuratively, to catch by pursuit:--abide fast, cleave (fast together), follow close (hard after), be joined (together), keep (fast), overtake, pursue hard, stick, take.
to catch by pursuit, to run aft Him
to be joined, to walk onli where He walks to walk so closely w Him dat u r inseparable
dis cleavin adds new meaning to d verse with Elo all things are possible
cos nt onli can He do all things
but d added implication is dat if we walk with Him in His will all things are possible
with Him, He gives us our daily bread, He provides a way of escape, He carries us, He establishes us.
hurhurhur yet another lesson its all back logged mostly frm d time when i didnt hav time to write it all dwn bt finally mid terms r over n i'm takin a breather b4 i dig in into n pile of projects n essays in d days ahead
lesson number two: a way of escape
He is a wonderful Elohim, n if we keep our hearts open
He is faithful and just
He reveals Himself to us His words comes to life in d people and situations we encounter in dis journey of life
He gave me a taste of dis verse in 1 Corinthians 10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but Elohim is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." in the way coach coaches us
coach sets the program and trg is tough n difficult bt he noes our limits n when d prog is beyond us he is lets us off for d time being n cuts d prog, not to say dat he doesnt get wat we wans out of d trg though. n when we r tired he carries us on on his wash
in d same way YHVH is like dat
in our walk with Him
He sets us tests to train us, dat our faith may grow n bear fruit
bt at the same time He noes our limits dat our days r like grass
and He is every ready to provide the strength and the grace needed to accomplish wat He requires of us
and when we are weak den we r strong cos He will pick us up n carry us thru
He provides a way of escape, carrying us thru
like in the footprints in d sand written by Mary Stevenson

he was walking along the beach with the LORD

something to look back n encourage myself when i'm dwn
a testimony of His goodness in revealing Himself to me
a proclamation that my YHVH my Elohim is real
oookies lets get dwn to lesson number one: daily bread
everyday He teaches me to rely on Him for strength
n when i do i'm carried thru the trg on eagle's wings
and my faith is strengthened because i noe dat He lives n He answers prayers
He orders my steps so dat my feet did nt slip
i can count on Him to lead mi n guide mi through d day dat i may keep myself frm my iniquity n walk daily in His perfect will for every single moment of my life
n slowly He is answerin my prayer revealin to mi His plan and purpose for my life
n oh d joy n peace to b found when u r in His will
safe in His loving arms
when i fall, n we all fall, He is quick to chasten
n when i repent n ask His forgiveness,
in His abundant mercy n grace, He is quick to forgive, to blot out my transgression
and dere is no condemnation in Him
onli d joy n d love at d return of d prodigal son
my love for Him grows each day for He has forgiven mi much
He gives mi everday my daily bread,
revealin His daily plan for my life n d grace n strength to carry it thru cos He orders my steps
n my soul is satisfied
